Marin Community College District
On June 16, 2023, Dr. Eva Long resigned from her position as Trustee of the Board for the Marin Community College District, creating a vacancy as of that date.
At a duly scheduled meeting of the Board of Trustees on July 25, 2023, Crystal Martinez was named the provisional appointee to the Board. Crystal Martinez has taken the oath of office and provisionally assumed all of the duties of a member of the Board of Trustees as of July 25, 2023. Unless a petition calling for special election containing a sufficient number of signatures is filed in the Office of the County Superintendent of Schools within thirty (30) days of the provisional appointment, the appointment shall become an effective appointment. (Education Code 5092)
