Ideation Challenge 2.0

Reimagine the Heart of Campus

Your Idea. Our Campus.

As part of College of Marin's Centennial Celebration, we're inviting students to help shape a space that future generations of Mariners will enjoy for years to come.

The portable buildings near Fusselman Hall and the Academic Center at the Kentfield Campus have been removed, creating a new open area at the center of campus. Now we want to know:
Aerial campus map highlighting a central outdoor area outlined with a dashed border, including lawn, trees, and open space. Text at the bottom asks, “What should this space become?” inviting ideas for the site's future use.

Through the Ideation Challenge 2.0, students will have the opportunity to submit a vision for transforming this site into a place that supports learning, wellness, creativity, connection, or something entirely new.

Grand Prize: $5,000

Finalists will present their ideas to a panel of alumni, employees, students, and community members, and one winning concept will be selected for the $5,000 grand prize.
