Large-cast production of this very beautiful, very gripping opera tracing the life and art of the great Mexican painter, her husband, muralist Diego Rivera, as well as appearances of Diego’s former wife and lovers; Mr. and Mrs. Henry Ford, Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Rockefeller, Mr. and Mrs. Leon Trotsky, Edward G. Robinson; and a trio of ghostly apparitions. (This is NOT the same work as performed by San Francisco Opera last month.)
