KENTFIELD / NOVATO, CA -- On Saturday, May 3, 2025, at 9 a.m., College of Marin (COM) will hold its annual College Success Saturday, an event designed to help graduating high school seniors transition to college life. The event provides incoming students with priority registration for summer and fall classes. Attendance is free, but registration is required.

College Success Saturday includes an interactive orientation where students will learn about vital programs and services, followed by the opportunity to register for classes. Parents are invited to attend a separate orientation, offered in both English and Spanish, which will cover essential college information and strategies to support their students. After the orientations, workshops on transfer programs and financial aid will provide additional resources to help students succeed.

The event also features a College Success Fair, where attendees can connect with academic departments, learning communities, and student activities to explore the campus and its offerings. In partnership with 10,000 Degrees, a financial aid Q&A and completion workshop will be available until 2 p.m., offering one-on-one assistance for financial aid applications.

Students are encouraged to meet with a COM counselor prior to the event to create their student educational plan, a personalized roadmap for their coursework. Appointments can be scheduled through the MyCOM Portal or by calling (628) 234-7432.
