The program features Norman Dello Joio’s Scenes From the Louvre, a vivid musical portrait of one of the most famous museums. Dive into the literary-inspired Of Sailors and Whales, Francis McBeth’s five-movement tribute to Moby Dick. William Schuman’s The George Washington Bridge captures the majesty of this American landmark in a powerful masterwork.
Additional selections include works by Eric Whitacre, Edward Gregson, Julius Fučík, and John Philip Sousa.
