Management Position Reclassifications
The Senior Vice President of Student Learning and Student Services was reclassified to Assistant Superintendent/Vice President for Student Learning and Success (no salary range change)
The Vice President of Finance and College Operations was reclassified to Assistant Superintendent/Vice President of Administrative Services (from range M7 to M8)
The Assistant Director of Human Resources was reclassified to Director of Human Resources (from range M3 to M4)
Other Action Highlights
The Board passed all consent and action items on the agenda. Approved items included the 2018/19 budget, the 2019/20 academic calendar, the ACCJC follow-up report, a resolution for reimbursement from the State for child center closures during the 2017 Santa Rosa fires, a master agreement between the Marin Community College District and the College of Marin Foundation, a revised facilities fee schedule, and an agreement with Perkins Eastman Dougherty (PED) for architectural design services to assist in developing a solution for the Bolinas Marine Laboratory. PED will review all existing documentation and study reports, meet with COM leadership and faculty to identify acceptable program uses at the site, develop reuse strategies with conceptual cost evaluations, COM faculty and Bolinas community outreach meetings, and prepare County Planning Department documents required for review.
