Study Session topics included the Board Self Evaluation, Assembly Bill 705 – Seymour-Campbell Student Success Act of 2012, update on Branson contract negotiations and an update on Measure B, which included information about a bond sale, a non-bond certificate of participation for workforce housing, and an update on the Fusselman Hall project.

Board Policies and Administrative Procedures
The Board received a number of policies for a first reading and the following administrative procedures for information:
AP 7126 Applicant Background Checks
AP 7233 Claims for Work Out of Classification
AP 7240 Confidential Employees
Other Action Highlights
The Board passed all consent and action items on the agenda. Approved items included Resolution 2018-23 to authorize the issuance of MCCD Election of 2016 General Obligation Bonds, Resolution 2018-24 to authorize execution of the sale of college district certificates of participation for workforce housing and Resolution 2018-25 to eliminate/reduce vacant classified services. Agreements with California State University Sonoma, Mills College Pathways and UC Regents were also approved.
