Info Snippet from the Planning, Research, and Institutional Effectiveness (PRIE) Office
College of Marin (COM) is now using eLumen software to collect, store, and report on student learning outcomes, curriculum review, and program review. PRIE is providing data on enrollment, student persistence, course completion, and course success by program; and for the College overall for each discipline’s program review. PRIE is uploading the data into eLumen for direct faculty access to their discipline’s data. These data are also disaggregated by race/ethnicity, gender, age group, and campus/distance education. Academic departments will compare metrics for their programs to the College overall.
Currently, COM’s new student persistence from fall to spring semester is 62 percent. The spring 2018 course success rate is 79 percent, and the course completion rate is 91 percent.
