Understanding the Science of Aging Well - SOLD OUT

KENTFIELD / NOVATO, CA—January 11, 2019—College of Marin (COM) presents the fourth annual Mini-Medical School: Medical Science and Aging. This year’s two-day seminar will take place on Saturday, January 26, and Saturday, February 2, from 9 a.m. to noon in the James Dunn Theatre, Kentfield Campus.

Seminar content is appropriate for passionate and curious adults, young seniors/boomers, maturing adults, and students and community members of any age who have an interest in the second half of life. Program partners have included top medical school clinical professors as well as respected researchers from Stanford University, University of California, Davis, UCSF, and Kaiser Permanente.  

Two consecutive Saturdays: January 26 and February 2, 2019

Registered attendees should arrive between 8 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. to check in, receive a seminar packet, and partake in light refreshments in the theatre lobby. From 8 a.m. to 8:40 a.m., health information and resources will be available, with free blood pressure checks provided by COM health sciences students.
