Get Support for a Great Semester

Don't Get Dropped!

Students have until 11:59 p.m. Wednesday, August 19, 2020, to pay fall 2020 tuition and fees, setup a payment plan, file for Federal Student Aid (2020/2021 FAFSA) or the California Dream Act.

You may make payments online through your MyCOM Portal. (VIDEO) If you make changes to your schedule, check your balance for changes to your account.

If you have paid your balance, applied for financial aid/CA Dream Act, setup a payment plan, receive Veteran benefits, or the California Promise/BOG Fee Waiver you may disregard this message. If you are experiencing financial hardship, and are unable to pay, due to the COVID-19 pandemic please email financial.aid@marin.edu.

To borrow a laptop, hotspot (due to no-Wi-Fi in your area), and/or need support with short-term food access, please submit a COM Care report in your MyCOM Portal under "Quick Links."

Get Ready for Success Online!

Check course-level footnotes in the searchable online schedule for specific details about mandatory online (via Zoom) course meeting times and hybrid courses with required on-campus meeting dates/times. Faculty will provide more information in the course syllabus and in Canvas.

After August 10, students will have access to the College’s learning management system, Canvas, where you can access important course information prior to the start of the fall semester. Students should view the course welcome letter announcement and orientation module in Canvas

¡No pierdas tus cursos!

Los estudiantes tienen un plazo hasta las 11:59 p.m. del miércoles, agosto 19, 2020 para pagar la matrícula y costos, formular un plan de pagos, solicitar Ayuda Federal Estudiantil (Federal Student Aid) (2020/2021 FAFSA) o California Dream Act.

Puedes hacer los pagos por internet mediante tu MyCOMPortal (VIDEO). Si haces cambios a tu programa de clases, verifica tu balance para ver posibles cambios a tu cuenta.

Si ya pagaste tu balance,ya solicitaste ayuda financiera/CA Dream Act, si ya formulaste un plan de pagos, si recibes beneficios como Veterano de guerras o California Promise/BOG Fee Waiver puedes ignorar este mensaje. Si estás pasando por dificultades económicas y no puedes pagar debido a la pandemia del COVID-19, por favor envía un correo a financial.aid@marin.edu.

Acceso a Tecnología y Necesidades Básicas

Para obtener una laptop prestada, un hotspot (debido a la falta de Wi-Fi en tu área) y/o si necesitas apoyo para acceder a comida a corto plazo, por favor presenta un informe COM Care en tu portal MyCOMPortal bajo"Quick Links” (enlaces rápidos).

¡Prepárate para tener éxito en línea!

Fíjate en las notas al pie del nivel del curso en el programa de clases en línea por detalles específicos acerca de los horarios de reunión obligatoria (por Zoom) y sobre las fechas/horarios de los cursos híbridos que tienen como requisito reuniones en el campus. El profesorado proveerá más información en el programa del curso y en Canvas.

Después del 10 de agosto, los estudiantes tendrán acceso al sistema de control del aprendizaje del Colegio, Canvas, donde pueden acceder a información importante sobre los cursos antes de que comience el semestre de otoño.

Se recomienda a estudiantes que lean la carta de bienvenida al curso y el módulo de orientación en Canvas.
