Power has been restored to the Kentfield and Indian Valley Campuses. Classes will resume as scheduled on Thursday, October 31, 2019, and all College offices will be open.
Many public schools in Marin County will also reopen on Thursday, October 31, following closures due to the impact of the Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) and the Kincade fire in Sonoma County.
As always, use your best judgment in these situations and work with your instructor or supervisor if you are unable to make it to campus due to family care obligations or health concerns.
For additional information and the status of evacuation centers, community resource centers, pharmacies, and gas stations, visit Marin County’s Emergency Information Page: www.marincounty.org/emergency
Detailed maps of outages, and an address look up tool, can be viewed at: http://critweb-outage.pgealerts.com/?WT.mc_id=Vanity_pge-outages
Smoke from the Kincade fire, or new fires, could blow into the area and affect air quality. College officials will continue to monitor air quality data from the Bay Area Air Quality Management District.
