Please join us in welcoming Isabel Allende to College of Marin! The evening will begin with students in the COM Drama Department performing an excerpt from The Stories of Eva Luna, dramatized and directed by instructor Erin McBride Africa. Following the performance, Ms. Allende will be interviewed on stage by COM English professor, Dave King, and take questions from the audience.
This will be a night to remember: a celebration of Isabel Allende, of Spanish, of Latinx cultures, of feminism, of democracy, and of bilingual, immigrant, and refugee families!
This event is free and open to the public. No registration or ticket required. Everyone is invited, although the content is most appropriate for ages 13 and up.
