Student Health Services Offers Free STD Testing
On-campus testing for STD awareness month
KENTFIELD / NOVATO, CA--March 16, 2018--COM Student Health Services will be hosting two days of free and confidential sexually transmitted disease (STD) testing in April. This event is in collaboration with The Spahr Center and the Marin County Public Health Department. The Spahr Center will be on campus to provide rapid HIV and hepatitis c testing. Tests for chlamydia and gonorrhea will be facilitated with help from the Marin County Public Health Department.
Get Yourself Tested (GYT) provides the facts on STDs, testing, and protection; talking tips for conversations with partners, parents, and health care providers; and a testing center locator provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
Free STD testing will take place at Student Health Services in Parking Lot 6 at the Kentfield Campus.
