College of Marin celebrates COMmunity Hour every Monday and Wednesday from 12:40 pm to 1:30 pm. This break in scheduled classes provides a time for students, faculty, and staff to step outside the classroom or office and come together as a community. Student Services remain open during this time.
COMmunity Hour events are scheduled and posted to the online event calendar on the right hand side of this page. Anyone in the College of Marin community is welcome to participate. We also invite members of COM to host events. If you are intersted in hosting, find out more here.
In addition to events, it’s also a time for students, faculty, and staff to interact and learn more about each other. Student success can be fostered as we open ourselves up through dialogues that send a clear message—we are here to help each other!
