OUR PROGRAMS OF STUDY
College of Marin offers two distinctive academic programs of study — our Credit Program and the Intensive English Program. Both programs are SEVIS certified and have the ability to issue the Form I-20. Students who apply to our Intensive English Program can also apply for Conditional Acceptance to the Credit Program. Conditional Acceptance makes transfer easily once you complete your studies and are ready for college–level English.
College of Marin Credit Program
The Credit Program offers a wide range of programs which include many choices in Liberal Arts and the Sciences, including Business, Computer Information Systems, Engineering and much more. It is a wonderful place to start your studies or earn a degree, especially for students who wish to transfer to a 4-year institution in the University of California (UC) or the California State University (CSU) system after they complete their studies in the College of Marin Credit Program. In fact, we have a whole team available to help students build a unique academic plan designed to fit specific educational needs. Sign up today!
Intensive English Program
Our Intensive English Program (IEP) is a wonderfully friendly and fun, yet rigorous, program that helps students build their academic English skills and learn about US culture. The program includes classroom instruction, activities in and around campus, and field trips around the Bay Area. Many students study at IEP before continuing their studies at our Credit Program or transferring to a university. Small classes allow for specialized instruction, and the intensive aspect of the program allows for quick development of English language skills. IEP instructors are highly skilled, dedicated to helping students succeed, and have advanced degrees. Our Intensive English Program is taught exclusively at our Indian Valley Campus, located in Novato. Ready to apply?
