Virtual Parking Permits

Beginning August 15, 2022, College of Marin (COM) will go live with new virtual parking permits. Students, employees, and visitors to the College will now be able to purchase parking permits online. Employees and students taking credit/noncredit classes will be able to access their accounts directly within their MyCOM Portal. Community Education students and visitors to the campus will need to create an account before purchasing their permits online.

The parking permit system will remain hybrid as the Campus Police Department works to integrate additional types of permits that are regularly used. The existing daily parking kiosks located throughout the Kentfield and Indian Valley Campuses will remain in place for cash and credit purchases. Individuals who have not yet created an account may purchase and place the printed daily parking permit on their dashboard as done previously.

Each kiosk will have a QR code to scan for purchasing a virtual daily permit online. The Cashiering Office will be able to assist credit/noncredit students with their purchases, as well as receive payments by cash and check for semester permit purchases. All Community Education parking permits must be purchased online, as there is no in-person registration assistance available.
