Study Session
Study session items included a final Team Effectiveness and Communications session with a focus on conflict resolution. The session was facilitated by Team Effectiveness Consultant and Leadership Coach Jeff McColloch.
Afterward, Group-4 and HMC Architects, experienced library architects, gave a compelling presentation for re-envisioning the Learning Resources Center (LRC), with community and user input and engagement as key components of their design process. The presentation was followed by a question and answer session.
Greg Nelson gave an exciting virtual tour of the Pomo Cluster, showcasing the many exciting upgrades to the buildings and classrooms.

Cara Kreit presented the Strategic Plan Indicators to the board along with the Strategic Plan Update, followed by questions and answers about tracking progress and the purpose of adding performance indicators.
Measure B Update
In-depth project status updates were provided on both the Kentfield and Indian Valley Campuses.
Other Action Highlights
The Board passed all consent and action items on the agenda, with the exception of the August minutes which will be on the October agenda. Items included a Resolution Annual Contract with California Department of Education for Child Development Services Continued Funding and Signature Authorization for FY 2019-20; Resolution Commending the Extended Opportunity Programs and Services (EOPS) - 50th Anniversary; Resolution for Purchase of Tax-Defaulted Property from County of Marin; and Approval of the Marin Community College District’s Initial Proposals for the Successor Agreement with the United Professors of Marin, AFT Local 1610 (UPM).
