In preparation for the Career Fair, the Career Center is hosting a series of events and resources to help students prepare for their meetings with potential employers:
Register for College of Marin's virtual job board, Handshake, to find current job opportunities and connect with employers. Once active on Handshake, students will have access to the online job board with over a thousand Marin-based employers who have already posted internships, full-time and part-time jobs. The job board is updated daily with new employers and new jobs.
Career Exploration Class
Get prepared for your job search by enrolling in the Career Exploration class (COUN 133). This introductory course gives students a practical approach to making career and educational decisions.
Resume Review
COM students are invited to a drop-in session and have their resumes reviewed by experts. Counselors will be on hand to provide suggestions to make your resume more professional, polish your objective statement, and give input on formatting.
