Campus Policing and Public Safety Advisory Council

The Campus Policing and Public Safety Advisory Council (CPPSAC) will typically meet on the fourth Monday of every month, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in Academic Center 229 (Kentfield Campus), unless otherwise noted when the agenda is posted, at least 72 hours before the meeting.

PUBLIC COMMENT PROCEDURES:
Persons desiring to address the Campus Policing and Public Safety Advisory Council ("Advisory Council") on a matter of concern that is within the Advisory Council's subject matter jurisdiction and that is not stated on the agenda may do so during the public comment portion of the meeting. Public comment is limited to 3 minutes per speaker and 15 minutes per topic. The law does not permit any action to be taken on, nor extended discussion of, any items not on the agenda.
Comments regarding items on the agenda will be heard immediately before the Advisory Council's consideration of the item. (BP 2350 Speakers and BP 2355 Decorum/Conduct).

Persons desiring to address the Advisory Council in person may do so by attending the meeting in-person and by submitting a comment card before the start of the meeting.

ZOOM PUBLIC COMMENT PROCEDURES:
To make a public comment at the Advisory Council meeting if joining by Zoom: Use the Zoom “raise hand” feature so the administrator and Advisory Council Chair can identify you. Just as with in-person public comment your time is limited to 3 minutes. There is limit of 15 minutes total per topic.

To help facilitate taking public comment at the Advisory Council meeting via Zoom, please use the instructions as follows:

• Please “raise your hand” when the Advisory Council Chair requests public comment. To “raise your hand” use the Zoom feature on your screen or by dialing *9 if you join by phone.
• After you raise your hand, the Advisory Council Chair will ask you to unmute yourself and provide your full name. To unmute, click or tap the microphone icon on Zoom or by dialing *6 if you join by phone.
• You may comment up to three (3) minutes.
• The Advisory Council Chair will notify you when your time has run out.
• If you are commenting on an item not on the agenda, please be prepared to raise your hand during the Public Comment section of the agenda.
• Otherwise, “raise your hand” when the Advisory Council Chair gets to the agenda category/section or when requested by the Advisory Council.

Any comments sent to the Advisory Council will be attached to the Advisory Council meeting agenda as correspondence, depending on when it is received. Form comments after the agenda is posted are included as correspondence in the next agenda.

Notification at least 48 hours prior to the meeting will enable the District to make reasonable arrangements to ensure accessibility to the Advisory Council meeting.

Government Code Section 54957.5 states that public records which relate to any item on the open session agenda for a regular Advisory Council meeting should be made available for public inspection. Those records that are distributed less than 72 hours prior to the meeting are available for public inspection at the same time they are distributed to all members, or a majority of the members of the Advisory Council. The Advisory Council has designated the Office of the Superintendent/President at 835 College Avenue, Academic Center, Room 212, Kentfield, California, for the purpose of making those public records available for inspection.
