The Sustainability Club will host a spring plant sale on Friday, April 20, 2018, from noon to 3 p.m. Club members have organized this event in honor of Earth Day and to bring the College of Marin community together to reflect on a shared responsibility to the land and each other.

There will be a film screening of Look and See: A Portrait of Wendell Berry from noon – 2 p.m. Berry is a renowned writer, farmer and, activist. Attendees are welcome to buy plants, eat food, and mingle during the film.

From 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., there will be a guest lecture by John Montgomery, founder of Lex Ultima and former co-chair of the legal working group behind California’s benefit corporation legislation.

Plants will be sold for $3 each (free food plate and beverage with plant purchase!). Food plates and beverages may also be purchased separately for $3.
