Schuyler Bailar is an educator, bestselling author, and activist who made history as the first transgender athlete to compete in any sport on an NCAA Division 1 men’s team. Schuyler’s story has appeared on 60 Minutes and The Washington Post and explores the universal challenges of trying to “fit-in” and why he ultimately chose to put many potential accolades at risk to be true to himself. Schuyler’s critically acclaimed nonfiction bestseller, He/She/They: How We Talk About Gender and Why It Matters, is a preeminent resource on trans inclusion.
