To Schedule a General Counseling Appointment
- Log in to schedule a counseling appointment
or email counseling@marin.edu - Once scheduled you will receive a link to a Zoom meeting via email.
- At the time of the appointment, join the meeting via the Zoom link or phone using one of the numbers in the Zoom email.
- Please cancel the appointment through the MyCOM portal if you are unable to attend.

Health Services
Telemed health care services (remote clinical services using telecommunications rather than in-person visits) for currently enrolled College of Marin students are available Monday through Thursday, from 9 am to 4 pm, and Fridays from 9 am to 12 pm by calling (415) 763-9317.
- If you are unable to connect due to high volume use or when we are closed, you can also submit this form to contact us.
- If you are requesting a TB risk assessment, please complete the contact form and the nurse practitioner will schedule a telephone meeting with you.

Math Lab
The Math Lab is staffed by COM Math Instructors and Instructional Specialists who offer free, drop-in tutoring for all currently-enrolled COM Math students. The information for how to connect to the Math Lab is in your Canvas portal. Log in, choose Student Support in the left navigation bar and click on Math Lab.
Online Writing Center
The Online Writing Center (OWC) is open 24/7, seven days a week providing free online tutoring and support for all aspects of the writing process. To receive tutoring, please visit the OWC webpage at http://ss.marin.edu/tutoring-labs#owc and follow the instructions provided. If you have any questions or need assistance, please email Beth Sheofsky at esheofsky@marin.edu.
Tutoring and Learning Center
The Tutoring and Learning Center is providing tutoring through Zoom. To receive tutoring, access Zoom sessions listed in the Online Tutoring and Learning Center. If you need help joining tutoring sessions or have other questions, please email AskTutoring@marin.edu or contact Tutoring and Learning Center Coordinator Oksana Pensabene at opensabene@marin.edu.
Virtual Reading and Writing Lab
Currently enrolled students can schedule an online, real-time tutoring appointment with an instructor from the Reading and Writing Lab. Each appointment is 20 minutes long.
To schedule a virtual Reading and Writing Lab appointment:
- Log in to schedule a virtual RWL appointment
- Once scheduled, you and the instructor/tutor will receive a link to a Zoom meeting via email.
- At the time of the appointment, join the meeting via the Zoom link.
- The instructor may ask you to e-mail your rough draft or share your rough draft through Zoom.
- Please cancel the appointment if you are unable to attend.

CARE and FERA are PG&E discount programs that help eligible customers pay their energy bills. Over 1.4 million customers are receiving a bill discount through these two programs. Complete the online CARE/FERA enrollment form to find out if you’re eligible.
