Access to Reduced Cost or Free Internet

If you need reduced-cost or free internet access, there are multiple organizations that are providing support. We encourage you to research each option to find the best fit for you.


Counseling

To Schedule a Counseling Appointment

  3. At the time of the appointment, join the meeting via the Zoom link or phone using one of the numbers in the Zoom email.

Food Resources

Due to guidance related to COVID-19, College of Marin has stopped the COM Cupboard distribution. This includes our daily pantry in Student Health Services, Tuesday pop-up pantry in the Student Services Center, and our Wednesday farmers market stand in front of the Learning Resources Center.

We understand that many of our students rely on this resource and want to be sure that you continue to have access to healthy food. Please see the following information to find available food near you.

Mental Health Support and General Wellness Resources

Library Services


Math Lab

The Math Lab offers free math tutoring and help with homework questions for currently enrolled students. You can schedule an appointment with an instructor/tutor for a particular day and time.

Online Writing Center

The Online Writing Center (OWC) is open 24/7, seven days a week providing free online tutoring and support for all aspects of the writing process. To receive tutoring, please visit the OWC webpage at http://ss.marin.edu/tutoring-labs#owc and follow the instructions provided. Tutoring and Learning Center

The Tutoring and Learning Center is providing tutoring through Zoom. To receive tutoring, access Zoom sessions listed in the tutoring schedule. If you need help joining tutoring sessions or have other questions, please email AskTutoring@marin.edu or contact Tutoring and Learning Center Coordinator Oksana Pensabene at opensabene@marin.edu.


Virtual Reading and Writing Lab

Currently enrolled students can schedule an online, real-time tutoring appointment with an instructor from the Reading and Writing Lab. Each appointment is 20 minutes long.

To schedule a virtual Reading and Writing Lab appointment:

  1. Log in to schedule a virtual RWL appointment
  2. Once scheduled, you and the instructor/tutor will receive a link to a Zoom meeting via email.
  3. At the time of the appointment, join the meeting via the Zoom link.
  4. The instructor may ask you to e-mail your rough draft or share your rough draft through Zoom.
  5. Please cancel the appointment if you are unable to attend.
