Solar Eclipse Viewing Hosted by the Astronomy Department

The College of Marin Astronomy Department is hosting a solar eclipse viewing on Monday, August 21, for the entire college community. A solar telescope will be set up in the courtyard in front of the Science, Math, Nursing Building, and members of the Astronomy Department will provide safe-viewing glasses.

The solar eclipse begins at 9 a.m. and ends at 11:30 a.m., with the maximum eclipse viewable at 10:15 a.m. Feel free to drop by during those hours.
