Franz Liszt 206th Birthday Concert 

Music for piano duo, soprano, speaker, cello, and piano by the musical colossus of the 19th century. The program includes the tone poem Mazeppa for piano duo, art songs for soprano, works for cello, the declamation Sorrowful Monk for speaker and piano, and other works displaying the enormous breadth of Liszt’s compositional imagination. Program length is approximately 75 minutes

Performed by soprano Sibel Demirmen, cellist Jan Volkert, and pianists Paul Smith, Valeria Szervanszky, and Ronald Cavaye.
