New This Fall—COMmunity Hour
The fall semester schedule has time set aside every Monday and Wednesday from 12:40 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. for COMmunity Hour. This break in scheduled classes provides a time for students, faculty, and staff to step outside the classroom or office and come together as a community. Student Services will remain open during this time.
Starting this week, COMmunity Hour events are scheduled and posted to the online event calendar http://www1.marin.edu/events. Click on the COMmunity Hour icon to filter and display the lineup of events scheduled so far.
In addition to events, it’s also a time for students, faculty, and staff to interact and learn more about each other. Student success can be fostered as we open ourselves up through dialogues that send a clear message—we are here to help!
