Meeting Highlights Include
The collective bargaining agreement between Service Employees International Union (SEIU), Local 1021 and the Marin Community College District will commence negotiations as their agreement expires this December. An initial proposal was presented to the Board.
Measure B Update
Project status updates were provided on the several properties including the 937-939 Sir Francis Drake Property and the Miwok Aquatic and Fitness Center.
Vision for Success
The Student Equity Plan and AB 705 presentation provided an illustration of the pathways and framework to ensure student success in their educational goals, in alignment with College of Marin’s strategic goals.

Other Action Highlights
The Board passed all consent and action items on the agenda. Items included a resolution for use of educational protection account revenue; resolution authorizing the transfer of funds from the Unrestricted Fund to the Energy Maintenance Fund; resolution regarding elimination/reduction of classified employee services; five year capital construction project for the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office; proposed payment to superintendent/president; and the Tam District facilities use application.
