We are excited to welcome friends and families to the College of Marin. The information below will assist guests in making arrangements to attend the Commencement ceremony.
Where will the Commencement ceremony by held?
The Ceremony will be held at the Diamond Physical Education gymnasium. Please see Kentfield Campus map.
Do I need a ticket?
No, tickets are not required for guests. However, seating is limited to four guests per student. Seating is on a first come first serve basis. Marshals (faculty and staff) will be managing aisles and walkways, therefore, guests should be advised that entrance to the ceremony is closed at 6 p.m.
There is specific seating designated for individuals with a disability. Please arrive early to secure your seating if this is a need for an individual in your party.
Where can I park?
Parking will be available in Lot 12 closest to the Commencement ceremony. Traffic will be directed by Campus Police and will be on a first come first serve basis. Guests are advised to arrive early. Commencement starts promptly at 6 p.m. Please see Kentfield Campus map.
Can I take photos of my graduate?
Yes, there will be a designated space in the gymnasium for guests to take photos. Guests will not be able to enter the aisles or walkways to take photos and will kindly be asked to go back to their seats if this occurs. There will also be a professional photographer on site who will capture photos of each graduate as they exit the stage.
Where can I buy flowers?
A vendor will be on site selling flowers for your convenience.
